Hang art with a nail or a screw?
I recently purchased a framed art, came with all necessary hardware to accept the pin or the real screw … and What should I wear a 20 "x24" heavy, framed oil painting …
Do not use a nail. especially in the drywall. Always use a plug and a screw. and ensure that the screws / thread in the back (if they are not in yet) is 1 / 3 of the descent. Also, if you have a wooden frame in order to ensure that does not happen (is warp b / c of its natural, breathes, even in a living room, no humidity), do not use cables. hang directly onto the screws. It's a little harder to hang, but believe me once your done, will be safer, and less likely to warp. If you using a thread, use the pin on the plastic. I hope that helps. (ps this is 7 years of developing custom).
